How many other teams across the country try to schedule SEC West teams? It goes both ways. Do you think teams from other conferences are clamoring to play the top SEC teams? Have you ever heard a team talk about trying to schedule a top SEC program and not be able to?
I'm not going to pretend to know whether teams around the country avoid scheduling teams or if those teams want to avoid scheduling tough out of conference games. I would suggest you shouldn't either because neither of us know exactly what goes on.
I will say most games are scheduled years in advance so it is tough to know exactly how good your team or another team will be.
