SEC West is fierce.
SEC West is fierce.
Proves SEC dominance again by knocking off #8
Who do you guys think the top SEC team is currently? Alabama? Georgia?
Bama, easily. Hoping Auburn beats them, though.
SEC west is all equally good except Bama who is equally even better.
So when has the SEC West proven otherwise? Can you point to any games were the SEC West lost to another major conference opponent? It would take a truly clueless poster to suggest Arkansas wasn't capable of this win.
Just wait until Mizzou beats the barely-surviving survivor the the SCE West in the SEC Championship match. That will be okay because Mizzou is geographically located in the SEC West.
Want to bet on it? I am game.
Ok, they are 4-0.
Auburn beat KSU on the road. Nice win.
Arkansas beat Texas Tech (4-7) on the road
Alabama beat WVU (6-5) at home
LSU beat Wisconsin in Houston. Nice win.
Small sample size, only two good teams. Two SEC West teams didn't even bother to schedule a team from the power five.
Arkansas had A&M beat but snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. They lost to Alabama by a missed extra point and to Miss St by a touchdown and could have won either of those with one big play.
Almost winning is infinitely different from winning (Fl St almost loses every game) but the point is that the hogs have been competitive in the SEC west.
Alabama didn't beat WVU at home. Also, WVU beat B12 darling Baylor and narrowly lost to TCU by 1. So it isn't like they suck.
SEC West will have 7 bowl teams with the possibility of more games with the playoff. We will see how they do in additional power conference games. Traditionally, they will fair pretty well.
"Alabama didn't beat WVU at home."
200 mile drive for bama fans. 600+ mile flight for WVU fans.
LOL. SEC "neutral" fields are almost ALWAYS closers to the SEC fans, than the team's, fans: a nice van pool drive. That means MORE SEC fans can afford to attend the "neutral" game.
Just wait until Mizzou ...[wins]...the SEC Championship match."
This would truly be the SEC-apocalypse. But, one of the other SEC teams will be selected to play for the championship. It will either be Georgia, Alabama, or Mississippi St. My beat is on Georgia, which did beat Missouri in a shut out.
Use all the mental gymnastics you want. It won't change the fact that it wasn't a home game.
Use all the SEC fanboyism you must.
Significantly more of one team's fans at a game = home game for that team
I agree, if Missouri wins the SEC championship that will not keep a SEC team out of the College Football Playoffs. I like Georgia's chances, they easily beat Missouri.
More mental gymnastics. If that game is played anywhere besides Morgantown then Alabama will have significantly more fans. Let me break this down for you (you use childish tactics like the 'fanboy' argument so I will speak to you like a child). Home games are played at home. This is why they are called home games. Alabama's home games are played at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Al. They are not at home if they play in an NFL dome in Atlanta, Ga. It doesn't matter how many fans show up. The Georgia Dome is off campus in a different state. An exception could be made if they regularly scheduled games in another in city in Alabama, like the state capitol. I know this is very complex for you. Basically you are making excuses. Alabama would win that game anywhere.
My bad, three SEC West teams did not play a team from a Power Five conference. Sorry for claiming that it was only two.
I admit, I am quite the SEC fanboy. The SEC rules. Accept that simple fact of like.
