why does everyone think Anderson as NXN locked up? I predict he will win, but not by a lot. Millar ran 12:02 at van cortlandt (only 5 seconds behind ostberg). Millar is the real deal and will challenge Anderson for the win.

I'm just going to say it right now and you can re-read this later. Olin Hacker. I won't say I told you so.

Yes, his PR is "only" 9:14 but that was extremely tactical on Day 2 of state. He took an 8:52 guy at Griak, challenged Solinsky's record at the Ridges and just claimed the NXN HL region going 4:57/4:57/4:41 + the extra .1. He has good mile speed and has only gotten better since.

His dad was 9th and 4th at Kinney. Olin is carrying that same torch and he is on fire right now. He will take some scalps. Be ready.

Hunter has been running the same senior times of McGorty as a junior, and McGorty only lost to Cheserek.

Note- Interesting as we don't know the exact field yet. Tamagno has told people he will race fl but it doesnt seem like he'll go the Maton route and ditch his team. However Brea isnt 100% in yet by any means. Too bad Maton couldnt race nxn, would've been a nice matchup. Also any clue where Andrew Hunter is racing?

NXN Girls:

Note- New course will help CA a lot. Rainsberger will win the race of the chase pack behind the CA duo.

Note- I'm not sure who's the "real" national champion if this plays out, Collins or winner of FL?

Note- Millar will most likely take the #1 team point, giving Fayetteville the edge. Davis seeks revenge after state.

Girls:

Note- Great Oak is just too good. Saugus peaks at the right time.

Interesting picks, but note that every year people are predicting several CA girls teams way up front, and it has never proven to be correct in the past.

Collins injured her foot, she should be back for NXN but she might not perform to her full potential. Ostrander for some reason, decided to run NXN over FL so she should definitely win NXN. As for the girls FL race, Rohrer is a good pick to get the win but you're forgetting Hannah Debalsi, who ran a 9:55 two mile. Debalsi will most likely beat Belf and will be able to challenge Rohrer.

Seems premature to be throwing up predictions when the fields aren't even set.

Saugus has qualified for seven of the last eight championships, including four straight top four finishes from 2007-2009. CDM was 2nd in 2005 too.
