Coming from a boxer I use to cut weight all the time a couple weeks out from tournaments. It's sucked, seeing as there is no weight classes obviously you shouldn't have to suffer but you should restrict to 1600 calories a day man. It's not gonna be fun for the first couple of weeks because your body is gonna crave but you get use to it. Work around your workouts, if you run in the morning right when you wake up make sure you have fuel the night before. If you run mid day, have a meal in the morning and a recovery meal soon after. Most likely after awhile losing some lbs you will hit a stand still and that should help you alot. eat to supplement your workouts or your gonna feel weak!!!
