Ok, I am from IN and my brother lives in CO. I am going to visit him next week and we are going to spend most of that week at a ski resort called Keystone. He says it is around 8000 ft. Indiana, I believe, is like -1000 ft... just kidding, but you can see my dilemma. I'm not far into my training - I did 75 miles last week and most runs were just easy. Basically, I'm just trying to figure out what to do so that I don't F up my training while I am there. What do I need to know about training for one week at 8000 ft?
And BTW, I am a collegiate runner, so I have indoor track coming up in February. And I have trained for one-week periods a few times in Denver, so I know what one week would be like at 5000 ft.
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
