KB is going to break the world record at Chicago!
KB is going to break the world record at Chicago!
I would like to see it, but probably not.
What qualifies someone as a 2:02 runner...?
Will be too warm.
Put your money where your moronic mouth is. He's not running 2:02 in Chicago dumb*ss.

Humidity will be 73, mombasa in 2007 world cross was 80. This conditions are not conducive for a 2:02
While it would be EPIC to see him run a time like that waaaaay ahead of its time, I don't see it. If he did he would further his cement his GOAT status. If he doesn't, it's still a step in the right direction.
Try this on for size: Dennis Kimetto is 30. Bekele is 32. I really think he will break the WR sometime. I just don't think he'll get it in his second marathon. I do think he'll get the course record, though, which would be over a minute PR.

You're kidding right? The high in Chicago Sunday is currently predicted to be 58 °F.
http://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/HKMO/2007/3/24/DailyHistory.html?req_city=NA&req_state=NA&req_statename=NAMombasa on March 27, 2007 had a DEW POINT of 75 °F and high temp 89 °F. These conditions are so far apart that you comparing them as similar blows my freaking mind.

I will bet you the entire United States Gross Domestic Product that KB will not break the world record at Chicago on Sunday
Humidity will be 73, temperature will be 55 high, 12 miles per hour wind
Humidity is what destroys runners during marathons

Kenny is smart. He will pre-load with glycerol. The whirled record is going down.
That is a bold prediction. Way to go!
You're being ridiculous. Humidity is not a factor when it's only 55 °F. It is cool enough that the convective cooling by the air is enough, evaporative cooling (what humidity affects) is not required.
so they don't sweat?
12C is perfect, but humidity will cost KB the record as he will run 2:02.59.
chicago's looking fairly close to Berlin. Slightly lower temps, same humidity.
chicago's forecast*
He'll run 2:02.
But he won't be finished the marathon at that point.

Kenny seems to like it:
Kenenisa Bekele
@KenenisaBekele
nice weather
