Curtis ran a pr of 2:11:20 for 9th place and Amy Hastings tied her pr in 2:27:03. Each took home $10,000 for being first American.

Both actually felt the wind wasn’t that bad, whereas the race winners and Eliud Kipchoge and Rita Jeptoo both said it was windy.
