I completed an Ironman 2 weeks ago. I took three days completely off. I eased back into training with some easy bike and runs. The first 2-3 runs I had no issues with my left knee. However, I noticed on all runs since my left knee (medial) is still. It doesn't hurt but doesn't feel right either. On a few occasions, I would get a sharp like pain that would come and go pretty quick. It was getting better but I did a 7 mile run (a little above easy pace) and I made my knee really tighten up. Any thoughts? Shoes have less than 100 miles on them. Is my muscles just tired from the ironman so my knee is taking the load? My hip flexors and hamstrings have been tight lately since the race.
