If so, by how much? How old were/are you? How many years running? Why do you think it was core work versus some other factor

Not me. I have raced best at my weakest overall strength.
Idk about just doing core making me faster, but doing core makes me think I look good and then I feel good about myself and am more confident an race faster because of that. Also, it makes me feel like I'm doing everything Ican to get better.
The #1 reason I do core is for the six pack. Its all about looks
