I had a college coach tell me once that a "typical" female college rower was 5'11" (w/o heels) and around 185 lbs.

One is 6'0", the other 6'2". Tall, but not giantesses. It's just that most guys on TV are tiny.
Actually Caryn Davies (not in the video), the stroke for the gold medal London eight, is tallest at 6' 4". Rowing is all about leverage and length per stroke. Taller is better up to a point.
