I guess I figured being simple was easier to understand. Shall we get more detailed in discussing VO2max? Do you mean absolute max or relative max? Do you include a dot over the V so we know you are talking about a 1-minute value? Do you mean a max test that is done running or can we use a max test done on a cycle ergometer or maybe your highest VO2 while squeezing a rubber ball with your left hand? There is a VO2max associated with any activity you want to be tested doing, so which one would be best when discussing running as the activity? Do we need more or less simplification?
