You know what's great, your existence is so meaningless, so valueless, so bereft of accomplishments and popularity, compared to the Gouchers. You are utterly unimportant. They are royalty compared to your general shitty accomplishments and quality of life as a person. You are the weakest link.

Which pair has the lower IQ: gouchers or brosjo?
Which pair has had the longer, more dramatic journey: brosjo or gouchers?

Well, although Kara seems completely vacuous and her writing is devoid of interest, she does seem to know how to construct a grammatically correct sentence with no spelling errors. Adam also seems to be a smidgen brighter than the brosjo. Gouchers IQ = 185, brosjo IQ = 170
The brosjo silver spooned and trust funded for all it was worth. Not very dramatic. Like the brosjo, Adam has never had a job. Kara yakks a good pregame, but misses the shots. Gotta call this one even.
Sometimes in photos Kara looks hot, other times she appears definitely not hot. I just don't know what to think. Any help?
True. Kara is so unsightly she gets paid many thousands of dollars for public appearances, and to model clothing for apparel lines. She must be hideous. Perhaps you would care to show us what you look like? Or show us some PRs that are faster than Karas?

These days she is looking wrinkly unless airbrushed.
She has also always had that weird bulge that looks as though she is tucking back her junk.
Do you have to be an Academy award winning actor to say that Tom Green and Pauly Shore suck?

Who gives a shit?
Your welcome.
That should be "you're"
I like how she mentions that Wetmore is the only one who ever believed in her. A few years ago she said the same thing about Salazar.
She's washed up. She had her time and then she fell from grace so to speak and is trying desperately to no avail to stay relevant. Many pros go through this.
Just look at Frank Shorter, his last quality marathon was 1976 NYC, then he faded up from the scene and was never again a factor on the marathon scene. Kara is like post 1976 Shorter right now. Sure she had a good race at 2013 Boston, but that is her last good race. She's done.
I'd also like to know if she still believes in magic bracelets.
Kara signed a contract which paid her a sum of money. In exchange for that money she was expected to maintain some level of performance. That was too stressful, and she needed to take her life back. God forbid you live up to the expectations of the contract you signed. Welcome to what most of us call life. She and most professional athletes lost touch with reality early n life. What happens when this next bid for the Olympics falls short? She and her husband will end up owning or managing a running store and scraping by like most others. Hopefully they really love each other, because then they'll still be happy. I fear their romance has been centered around fame (albeit very limited fame) and when they're left alone it will unravel as many normal marriages do. Good luck to them.

You must be new around here.

I agree, but there is one thing that "should" make them not have to open their own shoe store. Kara was getting very good money from all of the endorsements, not just Nike. You don't live in a house like they had on an income of $100,000 a year.
She's currently with Oiselle and I'm sure she has some kind of deal with the profits. Obviously, I don't know that for a fact, but I believe that she will be endorsing "whatever" she can to make a buck for a long time.
She is wheeling and dealing:) whatever she can, highest dollar wins. The example of Nike is something that most will never know, nor care about. Nike may have offered her slightly more money, but she knew she could make it up elsewhere, and probably already has.
To the poster with the comment about Wetmore being the only one who ever believed in her and that's what she said about Salazar...exactly. Sorry, life is full of bullshitters, aka opportunists who say what they do to look good from all angles. It's the American way! She's trying to be the all-american girl who does no wrong...which means "like me and buy what I say".
Great point. But I think it fell on deaf ears as the guy is KG Fanboy.

In other words, the OP simply started another Kara-related thread to be a troll. Apparently, it never gets old.
To expand upon what someone else already said, it is fascinating to watch the continued criticism and trolling that she receives from anonymous LRC cowards when in reality, Kara has been exactly what we would hope our U.S. distance runners could be: amongst the best in the world, personable, marketable, promoting the sport, and accessible.
This thread is fueled by a bunch of frustrated male runners that put their whole life into running and at age 25 with a 14:20 pr are pissed that a world class woman figured out a way to keep making a living other than working at a shoe store.
The running industry is still growing and she is just trying to make a good living.
And a lot of people in the fitness industry know her from all the Runner's World articles and covers. And tens of thousands of women runners that don't know anything about the sport other than that magazine.
She is doing that same thing Runners World did by focusing on that market to make some money.
Or Jeff Galloway.
Anyone who can make fat, lazy women interested in running is doing us all here a big favor.
Duh! Really? It's been said by dozens of posters thru the last 2 years. She IS an opportunist which means she's marketing herself to make money, plain and simple. We all know that. Without her marketing herself to RW to attempt to be more "visible", she'd be making less money per year. Hence, she markets herself to RW and they market themselves to her, to sell more magazines. Yes, it's that simple.
