I doubt if any of the large dinosaurs could have survived the glacial periods. Glaciers came down as far as Ohio. Winters were probably brutal even in the tropics.
Interesting point. There are significant paleontological finds in the Arctic that have dinosaurs living in temperate climates, not unlike the upper midwest or New England now. That is, with months of sub-freezing temperatures every year. So populations could adapt and survive in many parts of the world.
Do y'all really believe in dinosaurs? Do you believe in unicorns, too?
reptillians are still in control of the government

The big asteroid was part of a war between various raptor empires.
This ^. Humans were created as part of a raptor science experiment, and some went to hide in caves while the raptors killed one another in the great war. Eventually all the male raptors died in battle, leaving the others to die as well, and humans took over from there.
I am surprised that this theory is starting to get out there. I thought that we had been able to keep it under wraps.
A reptile banned me from LR

The smaller ones might still be around, but the larger species would most likely have died out. Most of the mega-fauna from previous eras has died out. Giant sharks, and massive land-dwelling organisms are generally a thing of the past. The environment just doesn't support them any more.
The smaller ones might still be around?!?
Hate to break it to you but many of the smaller ones are still around. Look up:
Corvus brachyrhynchos
Cyanocitta cristata
or one the all-time greats - Turdus migratorius

Thank God Ohio is such a miserable place, otherwise the glaciers would have stayed and we would all be under ice.
