So I gave blood last week, and while everything was fine, my temperature tested at 96.9. I've tested it myself every morning this week, and there's been little variance. I do get cold rather easily. Is this normal among runners, since we are thinner, and have lower heartrate/blood pressure? Or is it something that should be a concern?
My mom gets cold quite easily, but the docs say it's due to underactive thyroid.
I always have a low temperature and get cold easy. Resting heart rate is around 45 to 50 bpm and for 23 that is really low, and my blood pressure is around hovers between 105 and 110 over 65 to 70.
have your tsh levels checked . . . simple and failure respond (if there is a problem) creates all sorts of problems.

97 is considered the low end for normal body temp. 98.6 is just the average. Some people run hotter, some cooler. Distance running can affect your thyroid. So, a trip to the doctor is not a bad idea. But without having any other symptoms, you are probably just fine.
