Anyone use this service?
I used it to buy a minivan a couple years ago. Having done a fair amount of research at the time, I recall that Costco gets you within a couple hundred dollars of the absolute rock bottom price without the hassle of negotiating. It's a very fair price.
Thanks!
I used it 2 years ago to buy a Mini Countryman. Definitely the best price deal and absolutely no hassle with the dealer. Plus they let me put $5,000 of the purchase price on my costco card.
I intended to use it a number of years ago but when I went to the dealer they actually gave me a slightly better price (couple hundred dollars) through one of their own programs, so I just went with that instead.
Beyond that, it seemed to be quite a good, hassle free way to buy a car.
Just bought a car last month with Costco. Super-easy and dealer himself said it was better than anything he could do. Highly recommend!
didn't buy, but got a very good price on a Subaru..
If you like fighting with car dealers and have a couple of days to waste on the fight, could possibly get a better deal. For everyone else the Costco deal makes a lot more sense..
Wow. Did not know about this program. I might have to renew my Costco membership for this benefit to replace my 16-year-old Plymouth Breeze when the time comes...
Yep - did way back in 2005 to buy a new Honda Civic. Totally worth it - hassle-free, really good price. I've since let my membership expire, but would renew it again in order to use the service.
