congratulations to Will Leer on a breakthrough at the 1500m and the win. He now has a better shot at getting into faster races where he could go seconds faster than this even. It makes no sense to me to delay the standards and opportunity to get them until October, essentially meaning that no one gets them until late Spring, and many will spend a lot of time chasing standards next year when they should be doing base work for a much later peak.
I cannot believe he is still racing after all these years of near misses. Congrats to him. Hope he makes Worlds next year.
