...and the UltraSignup guy saw enough fishiness to just ban her. That's based on her current suite of logic-defying results.
There's plenty of evidence that she cheated. Its called math and splits. You don't close an ultra at faster than your marathon pace. Especially by hours. You just don't.
Its the same as that idiot who took an hour off her 2nd half NYC marathon split. Someone who doesn't run and thinks "heck the race takes hours, why couldn't one half be an hour less?" might buy it. But anyone who has run a marathon or follows the distance knows that it isn't gonna happen without cheating.
Same with ultras.
You must be new & just joined this thread. How about reading the previous thread postings first.

We really don't know if anybody has come forward. I have a feeling some or all are just trolls or part of the group that used to hold the record.
Do we have any verification that a non-anonymous person has come forward with allegations?
Capable cheater wrote:Sure she may have been a bit faster 5 years ago. So what? She is cheating now. Data and eye witnesses support that claim. Stay on track here. How many people have to come forward?
RR was just one race. I have read this entire thread and it seems like people are out to get her for Badwater. Yes, these people gave a name, but how do we know they were the real name? Since the Rd of Badwater has not DQ'd Parvaneh by now, I am calling Troll

Here's the full post from Fortney's public FB page [https://www.facebook.com/darren.fortney?fref=browse_search; emphasis added]:
Approximately one month ago, I was fortunate enough to compete in the Badwater 135, "the worlds toughest footrace." This was my fourth finish and I once again found myself extremely fortunate enough to be surrounded by some of the best in the world. To be on the same playground as these athletes has always been truly humbling.
Running is more than a sport to me. Running represents everything life has to offer. The ups, the downs, the struggles, the elation, the passion, the tears, the mental, the internal drive. Nearly every runner I know feels this way. We love this sport more than anything.
I am quite bothered however by what I witnessed on the course this year. It was not just me who witnessed this, it was also my four crew members as well. WE witnessed someone cheating. This was not some minor slip of some minor rule interpretation. We observed flat out and blatant failure to run the entire course on foot. Cheating. Yes, a grown person cheating. WTF??? In addition to myself and my four crew members who witnessed this, this same person was also observed cheating by another Badwater runner AND their crew members as well. The runners and their crew do not know each other. They are from different parts of the county. We recently reached out to each other to share what we saw. It was 100% consistent across the board. This runner was seen cheating. I have since learned that this person has cheated all across the US in achieving various "running records." This was also not their first time cheating at a major event as this person was recently DQ'd from an event as recent as 2013 for cheating.
I share this not because I have it out for someone. My life is plenty full of other meaningful and positive things to do and accomplish. I do, however, really care about the integrity of this sport. I have reached out to two of THE most respected Badwater veterans before I made this post...asking for their opinion and advice as what to do. "The truth needs to come out," they said. "You need to let the running community know so that change can be made." I care about the integrity of Badwater. I care about the 82 runners who honestly and successfully buckled this year. I also care about the 13 athletes who did not finish the course and respectfully and honorably DNF'd. I care enough about all these athletes to inform them that they were also cheated by this person. We all were. I will stand up and speak out. I will not leave this for someone else to deal with down the road. Enough is enough.
So, in sum, if you are going to claim to have buckled, make sure you actually honestly and legally covered the entire 135 miles in 48 hours or less.
Many of us know the truth already. Now many more of us do as well.
Steve, the RR RD DQed your wife. So, it's known that she races in a highly questionable manner in light of that fact. Combine that with numerous (NUMEROUS) firsthand accounts of either witnessing her cheat or noticing questionable behavior and eyebrows start getting raised.
She's poison now. All of her performances are now questionable.
The BW RD is a tool and is more concerned about cash, so it's unlikely he'll crush one of his "star" runners.

This. So clearly homeboy didn't read the whole thread.
I guess that's the flaw of this thread then. No one really knows if who stated what is actually coming from the real person because ANYONE can claim anybody else's name. We're talking about close to last place finishes here, back of the pack runners. So if anyone contests and says that PM cheated, I'd tend to believe them. I don't believe they have nothing to gain for stating that PM cheated on her runs.

Reading the whole thread is counterproductive. 99% of it is crap that didn't stick. Her Badwater splits weren't even that ridiculous looking from the outside.
Read Darren's Facebook page for the truly damning testimony. And look at the splits from the races she was actually DQed from.
Yes, she is a cheater. But you had to sift through loads and loads of crap to find the evidence that convicts her.

Probably requires getting a journalist interested to put enough pressure on the BW RD to DQ her. Maybe that Sara Germano at the WSJ who wrote about the USATF - GG mess.
Going way back to the OP's question: What ever happened with Larry Macon? Has anyone investigated any strange doings with his races? Supposedly Parvaneh was recording fake times for him as well.

Classic
I've always viewed Larry Macon as the mastermind.

And as such he is untouchable. We shouldn't even mention his name for fear of the consequences. Who knows how many henchmen he might have working for him.
So this lady has run 100s of races and someone found ONE race with anomalous splits. ONE.
Sounds like a witch hunt.
I haven\'t even read the whole thread but there is definitely more than one race with wacky splits. At least four that I recall.
Not to mention that most of PM\'s \"100s of race\" are lame events that she puts on herself that do not publish splits. Heck, even the finish times are clearly self reported.
So don\'t try to dilute the obvious cheating races with the I Ran \"marathons\", Steve-O.
Sounds like you are now admitting that she cheated during at least one race though. Interesting.
Meant to say 1000s of races. And yes, only one with anomalous splits. Less than .1%.
At least 4.
2 Rockys
1 Wild Hare
1 Badwater
Also 2 BW participants and 8 crewmembers witnessed her cheat at Badwater.
2 People witnessed her cheat at Wild Hare
1 Witnessed her cheat at Cactus Rose.
Something about poop and then accidentally cutting the course at Rocky.
Two in two places at once.
An enormous amount of round number "races" that she self reports.
A double marathon, sub 24hr 100 and another marathon in one weekend.
Come on now.
