I'm 14 looking to run a sub 2 minute 800m this season. Do you think this is possible and if so what should I be doing to achieve this?
About me: my current best is 2.02 (splits were 60,62 if your interested). I missed most of the XC season with ankle problems so my endurance is currently quite weak. I mostly rely on my speed to get good times although my endurance is slowly improving. I don't do much mileage (20-30 mpw) but do quite a lot speed work. My 300 time is 37.9 (u15s aren't allowed to do 400 in the UK), haven't done 1500.
So, do you think a sub 2 is possible and if so should I be focusing on speed or trying to improve my endurance?
Realistically I have about 2 months left of the track season.
