You need two quality speed sessions per week.
Ex- 1200,6x400
Ex-800-400-200-100-100-200-400-800 + 6x100 meter strides.
Those are two different types of speed sessions I personily use I can brake 5 minutes easily I have run 4:43 so I'm a legit source also other easy runs shouldn't just be easy should be productive pace. Hopes this help be glad to help more!
