I'm currently on vacation in the middle of my cross country buildup. I made it up to 45 mpw before vacation. Now I'm scared all my hard work will go down the drain because I have now only run 11 miles in the last four days. I am planning to build to a solid 60mpw before the end of summer. I have a couple radical ideas of what I could do in terms of training to get myself out of this rut as follows:
-run 10 mi a day the next three days to finish with a decent 41 mile week
-take the rest of the week easy and end up with 25 miles and get back up to 45 miles next week
-take the rest of the week easy and shock my system next week by running 60 miles
Any opinions and advice are greatly appreciated.
