Went 70,70,70,70,70,70,70 2 min rest
4:25
0/10
but 4:30, also depends on quality of the race. If its mixed gender you will do well. If its just girls and not a high quality then it will be hard to run fast

oh, it's you again. this must be your 100th post of this kind. do you ever race? seriously - go fookin race for a change.
about your workout - that is far too easy to do on 2m rest. so i would expect anyone to be able to run that a mile pace-5s. so your mile pace is 75s/400. so 4:40 for the 1500 at best.
And I should add ... 4:40 is totally consistent with the 2:15 800 that everyone predicts from your terrible 800 prediction workouts. I also note that when people suggest 2:15 for your 800 you get all defiant and disagree. Yet you don't actually race!
4:22.5
wait so what was the average on those quarters?

nonsense
2 minutes is a lot of rest
7 is not that many
try 4:35
I t sepends if the last one was all out, or if you were just being consistant.
All out- 4:28
consistant- 4:20

Also, why is 2:15 consistant with 4:40? I usually add about 8-10 secs for the 1500-mile, and that seems pretty accurate. So, a 2:15 should be about a 4:30.
This is good for 4:25-30.
7 minutes
go race and stop making these threads

Anyone who can run 4:2X can do this workout in their sleep. No way he's faster than 4:40

b/c he's training for the 800. a 4:30 is possible off a 2:15 ONLY if your aerobic strength is very good relative to your speed. for most people, ESPECIALLY teenagers, the 1500 time will be quite a bit slower than 2x800
this is not a 1500m predictor workout. a 7x400 workout with 2 mins of rest makes sense for masters, girls or beginners with limited speed and poor endurance.
2800m of pace running at all, but the total of rest time right at the beginning of the last 400 (and 2400m of pace running being done): 12 mins. the whole workout lasts 20mins, 10s for 2800m of pace running. i don´t know what kind of rest is done (walk?stop?jog?), so add some more metres. but even if this guy is doing a quite fast jog recovery of 2mins (=400m?), the training stimulus is poor.
(Play the game people. Tell him 4:20 and let him suffer).
do 8-10 of those and lower the rest by a minute. Stick 4 of those together. That's your mile time, so you can pretty much take about 20 seconds and that's your 1500m ABILITY.
Or you get out there and race.
