Freshman year i ran 18:00 for the 5k. Then i got injured in the track season woth growth plate issues.
Sophmore year i ran a 16:20 5k. Then in track that year ran a 4:40 mile.
Junior year i got injured and only put up a time in the early season of 16:40 for a 5k. Then track came around and i ran prs of 800: 2:00 1600: 4:23 and 2 mile : 9:47
This year in cross i want to reach a 5k time of under 15:30. What should my training be. Usually i train around 40 to 45 miles per week.
I just want some help planning out my summer mileage plan.
Can anyone tell me if this goal is realistic ??and what mileage i should shoot for to reach my goal of running sub 15:30 or better?
