The US athletes have to peak twice during a season, but at least the US Championships and Olympics/ World Championships are within a couple of months of each other.
The Australian athletes really have a challenge to manage: Peaking for their domestic season in March/ April, needing to run well at this time to gain selection for major championships, and then peak again 4-5 months later.

How would you recommend an athlete trying to peak twice over such a long period of time? Similar to how the Americans do it or is there a more tailored approach needed?
