this track season i did terrible. i am a junior in high school who can't jump above 5ft. my 400m is 74s and my 200m is 32s. if i train hard for the next 8-9 months can i get my high jump pr around 6ft. this was my first year in a sport. im not really that athletic and i was also the weakest dude on the team.im going to start doing plyos, and im also going to start lifting. i really need to increase my power and explosiveness. next track season i want to focus on the high jump mainly because my high school doesn't have that many high jumpers who can jump around 6ft. we only had one. all the other high jumpers jumped below 6ft.
im a 17 year old 6ft 1in teen boy. im going to be a senior in high school and i want to become a varsity athlete on my track team.
