Oh, you know.

Personally, I'd rather live in Washington.

Per capita, the rift valley crushes the entire holographic universe. So what if the soil in WA was contaminated with radioactive mitochondria when Mt. St. Helens blew her dome and now there are a disproportionate amount of white boys that can run as fast as kalenjin jr high girls.
Anyway, in addition to the radioactive mitochondria, it's not a fair comparison considering gravity is stronger in Southern CA. Y'all grow up with 20 mgals less gravity and are damn birds because of it. You might as well be east african, cheaters.

Long Beach State is the back-to-back Big West Conference champs in men's T&F. The Beach is currently ranked 5th in the NCAA West Region, ahead of UCLA, Stanford, Arizona, & Washington. USC is the only CA school ranked higher, but it doesn't recruit distance runners & doesn't have a cross country team.
The 49ers will return Chris Enriquez (14:07, 29:12), Chris Low (1:48, 3:52), Sal Bautista (14:57), Jose Herrera (3:57), & Emilio Nunez (14:59).
Sydney is a top recruit, but Long Beach State will be a worthy choice.

OK. But how would they have done in the Century League? Only Enriquez would have had a shot at winning anything, probably the 3200. The other four would have done really well in the JV race.
Apparently you don't consider Long Beach State a worthy choice for Sydney Gidabuday. Where should he go instead? I'll pass along your recommendation next time I talk with him.
University of Dar es Salaam, maybe?
Your posts went from laughable to ignorant.
The Century League went 1-3 in the boys State Meet Prelims 1600 for heat 1 and in heat 2 Koryta took second behind Haney. In California the State Meet doesn't have divisions so there's only 12 total boys who run in the final. Of the 12 athletes in the final, 4 are from the Century League, 3 have a chance to win. The final is tonight, can we see 4 athletes from the same league break 4:10 in the same race? I think so.
why do only 3 have a chance to win? i'm pretty sure all 4 have a chance to win, as well as the other 8 athletes.
if we're talking about realistic chances, or if i were a betting man: only one athlete in this race would be worth betting on. that said, i'll be rooting for all 4 century league athletes...
These kids are so burned out by pre-season meets, dual meets, invitationals, league championships, and the endless qualifying etc. inherent in Southern California track that it's no wonder they're burned out by the time they reach State, or try to run in National meets. It's ridiculous.

Thank you!
The link doesn't work, starts to show a video, then flips to a map that doesn't respond when clicked.
It's working now.
That's quite a terrible feed. Is anyone else trying to watch it?
Amazing, these same 3 guys got 2-3-4 in the CA State 1600.
1. Haney
2. Tomagno
3. Gidabuday
4. Corcoran
