I just finished my freshman season of track and i wanted to know which of my prs is the best for this year, i want to know if i have to work on speed or endurance more, so here they are:
800m: 2:07.58
1600m: 4:44.78
3200m: 10:14.23
Thanks!

mcmillan calc says a 4:44 is better. but i know a few people who can run a 10:14 and not a 4:44. vis versa.
Although charts would suggest that the 800 is best they are all comparable. I'd like to know your 400 best time to see whether you are more of a speed or an endurance athlete. My guess is you run about a 57 second 400.
One way to look at these times is to use the 5 second rule Daniels and other coaches speak of. for example you average 63.8 per 400 in your 800. Add 5 seconds to that and you could be averaging 69 per lap in the 1600 or 4:36. Add 5 seconds to that and you could be running 10:00 for the 3200. Understand that this 5 second rule is geared to more aerobically developed and older athletes. I usually see a 6 and even a 7 second rule for speed trained HS kids. With you each race is 7 seconds slower per lap. Not surprising for your age.
The 2-mile is best.
They couldn't possibly be more similar.
I don't know what my 400m PR is, but i went through the 400 in that 800 at about 62. I can run a 200 in high 27
I'd say the 4:44, but they're all pretty close. May I piggyback on your thread and put the same question out there?
Piggybacker's PR's - which one is best?
800 - 2:02
Mile - 4:25
3000 - 9:10
5000 - 15:26
5 miles - 26:59
10K - 33:34
10 miles - 58:03
Half Marathon - 1:20
Marathon - 2:57
Sorry for the hi-jack. I just didn't want to start a similar post.

Either Mile, 3k or 5k
I'd say your 5k is the best, especially if you are a HS athlete. I have a teammate who runs 4:27 for the mile and about 15:48 for the 5k so id say that your 5k is superior
I wish I were a HS athlete so I could do it all over again. I ran these PR's when I was in college in the 80's.
Your 800 is the strongest. Your 1600 and 3200 times are on the same level. My guess is you under performed in that 1600. Like almost every freshman distance runner, you need to keep working on your endurance.

Your Mile time is the best.
