So i have an important race next sunday, and i can do a mile race this sunday. This would be mean taking friday and saturday off instead of the usual training i do on saturday (hard session) and long run sunday. Am i better off A - doing the mile race this sunday and missing the weekend training, which will be a good sharpener for the 3 mile next week? Or B - carry on with normal training and just save it for the 3 mile next week?
