I wish this were true for me. I worked up to 19 reps at 340lbs for the half squat at a bw of 138lbs and I'm still barely under 13 seconds for the 100m.

Warm up then do 3 sets of 5 with a weight that you can barely finish the last rep with. You will see a definite improvement.
