Finished reading "Running with the Kenyans" by A. Finn. A great look inside the Kenyan culture of running. If you haven't read it yet, it is worth the time. Enjoy.

Seconded. Finished it about a month ago. I thought it was crazy how many recognizable names he encountered and ran with. Emmanuel Mutai, Stephen Kiprotich, Nixon Chepseba, etc.
The only thing that I wasn't a huge fan of was the "perspective" that he wrote it in. I got the feeling it was intended for people who don't really know running, which is fine obviously, but sometimes it was too obvious I thought.
Overall though I thought it was pretty good, definitely worth the read.
And Joan Benoit and her son were part of one encounter. Interesting that he knew little about her and had to look it up. Definitely worth the read.
Kenya
Great book and inspiring. He is not an elite by any means. It takes guts to show up at one of those training sessions.
