You need to pay attention to the science of PEDs vs the marketing. PEDs allow the user to recover faster than normal and do more work in a shorter period of time. That is exactly why PED users can work harder than normal. A typical non-PED athlete can do a max lift workout once in a one to two week period. A PED user recovers quicker and can do Max lifts/workouts every 3+ days. This is the fallacy that most folks don't realize. A PED user works harder because the PEDs creates the biological ability to work harder and recover quicker. This is the basis of why they are unfair, besides the fact that they harm major organs. Then you add the fact that kids are not properly educated on the dangers of PED abuse and you get a proper reason why they should be illegal. So, as you inject these substances in your body and fool yourself that you are just able to work harder than the normal guy. Just remember that you really can't. It is the PED that is giving you the ability to recover faster and work hard. If you believe this is not the case then just quit using them for 3 to 6 months and see what happens. You will return to normal and realize that you are not superman. The real athletes are the guys and gals who put in the hard work, achieve success and are the really athletic heroes, not the pill popping short-cutters who look for fame through pills and needles.

A lot of people don't seem to understand that PEDs like steroids are not used to *avoid* hard work; they're taken to allow *harder* work.
There are a few exception--the dilettantes, I call them--but as a rule the juicers are the hardest-working, most dedicated guys in the gym.
