I know several of the guys who graduated from Brookwood in the last few years. It's been a combination of long-term injuries, teams being cut, and simply a loss of desire to train and compete at the D1 level. If someone like watchout did some research, I'll bet that injuries and a lost desire are common for guys who ran varsity for a nationally recognized team and who made it to NXN and such. Many historic programs like Brookwood often run high mileage and train at a high intensity all four years. Other examples would be York, The Woodlands, and many of the top California schools.
