I would not argue with either you or with ddddd, or however many times he's got "d" there. I'd needed to have made an awful lot of money in a pretty short time span doing something I sort of liked to get me to 12 hour days but if someone thinks that's what they want to do that's fine. And yes, you do have to think about the future to some extent. What I found though is that there's a time limit on how far into the future you can do that with reasonable accuracy.
When I was 25 I could not have pictured myself where I was at 45 so I'm glad I didn't do a lot that I didn't want to do then based on mistaken ideas I had about where I'd be. I'd suggest making your life as reasonably enjoyable as you can NOW and being reasonably thoughtful about the future. People reinvent themselves all the time.
