My high school coach has had me run only about 15 mpw for cross country and about the same for track. It is literally at the point where a distance run is 3 miles. My PR is 15:50 for the 5K and 2:00 for the 800m. I feel like he isn't making me do enough. I have a lot of speed and can easily cruise through a speed workout but I lack endurance. My times are improving with each meet but I don't know if I should work harder on my own for even better results. My coach isn't an expert and has only been coaching for about 2 years.
