I had a fairly decent week. Upped the miles by a notch but the intensity wasn't too much. Highest mileage week since October. I would've raced Saturday but my best friend came home from the navy for a surprise visit so went out friday night and didn't roll in home till daylight!

The Wednesday workout was nothing special. At that point of the week i was going to race. Really enjoyed my long run on Saturday, the route i had picked out at parts was brilliant, running along country roads looking over at the countryside ahead of me (spectacular views! very lucky to live where i do), and on top of that i felt incredibly good throughout the steady segment. Things like that make me glad i am a runner :) Average pace for the 8.75mi was 5:59/mi and average pace for the 12mi was 6:27/mi.
