Lomong of last indoor season could have, certainly. He ran a 1:46 and an American Record 5k in the space of a few weeks. Hopefully, he will be ready to bust out again soon.

What makes you think he could? He has slower mile and 5k PRs than Rupp. The intermediary distance would surely be worse than Rupp's PR as well.
