Every session I do, I have a bad patch at some point, usually on the penultimate or third-to-last rep.
Some examples:
6 x 800m, June 2013, grass track, with 3 mins recovery

And today, 2 x 2 min, 4 x 4 min, 2 x 2 min, with 1 min recovery
2 x 2 min set 1 - 81 s/lap
80 s/lap
4 min set - 80 s/lap (through 800m in 2:40)
81 s/lap (through 800m in 2:42)
81 s/lap (through 800m in 2:42)
84 s/lap (through 800m in 2:47) ( !!!!! This is the really bad one)
2 x 2 min set 2 - 79 s/lap
77 s/lap
Any ideas why I fade at this point in the workout, and any tips on how to fix it.
I don't think I was running too hard early on, as I was able to do the last set without racing it or sprinting the end.
