After roughly six months of not running (personal choice no injury), i'm trying to get back into it. Probably averaged maybe 15-20 miles per MONTH in the last half a year. When i was training reguarly I ran 40-45 mpw and i was about a 9:40-9:45 2 mile guy and a mid 16's guy in cross. 18 yrs old. So question... should i just do a few runs a week this first week or two? Or should i immediatly go to six runs a week or so even if their low milage runs? Also when should i introduce workouts back into my regime? Any answers/thoughts/opinions would be much appreciated.
