I did a workout yesterday on the track after taking some time off and running only about 40-45 miles over the last several months (had done 90ish during the summer up until mid August). I'm racing a 5K in 2 weeks and was wondering where y'all think I currently am with my fitness.
Workout was 8 x 1K with 60 second jog rest. Went 3:24, 3:20, 3:20, 3:20, 3:20, 3:19, 3:17, 3:11. Felt aerobic for the most part but worked the last 600 meters of the last 1K.
My 5K PR is currently 15:40 but that was run back in early April on a track.
just curious to see where I may be potentially at fitness wise and what to potentially expect for this up coming 5K.
