I am looking to run sub 2:22 in my next upcoming Marathon (ING Miami)Besides the weather etc.. MY question is I am only able to do so many miles outside, then turn to the treadmill at night for about the same distance. Will running on the treadmill hurt me, overall? vs is I was to just run both run's outside.(execpt-life I can't/Family)
Has anyone done this, that can help me out or how your result was by doing just under half your weekly mileage on the treadmill, and about 60 percent outside. I do my long run or long workout on sundays which is outside.
Or has anyone just specifically ran 90 mpw on the treadmill and ran sub 2:22 ? or close ?
Please any advice would be helpful.
