Ed how are you coping on your training runs with the extreme cold temperatures this winter?
Have you modified your workouts or have you taken to an indoor treadmill?

We've had three cold days this winter, I'm sure Ed is fine.

I lived in Montreal before I moved to Milton 30 years ago. It was a lot colder there than here and I did long runs in that. I have always run outside here even on cold days.
A couple of years ago the town opened a new sports complex. One of the ice rinks has jogging track above it and I have started to use it recently when conditions in the cemetery are not good. At the moment footing is not good there apart from the wind and cold. I am not sure how I would have handled the conditions if the jogging track had not been available. Its not that warm in the arena but there is no wind and good footing of course. One disadvantage I find is that I tend to run faster than in the cemetery, getting out of my comfort zone by keying off other users, the competitive instinct factor.
Thank you, sir.
Good luck this year.
The windchill was -42 this morning, but the compacted snow
on the road had greater traction.
Milton probably had similar stats.
