My last workout was 6 x 300 with 2:00 rest
45 46 46 45 44 43
I was extremely exhausted after this workout

Maybe 2:05, sounds like 60 sec. pace could be to hard at this point. Sub 2:00 may be a long term goal.
2:03-2:06
End of season try to shoot for 1:59-2:03
Thanks for the replies do you think I can shoot for a 1:59 to 2:02at indoor state which is 2 months away or should I wait till spring when outdoor season ends
To be honest I think 2:02 is more of an end of season goal depending on the shape you are in right now. 2:00 rest is a lot of time for goal race pace. Would you say you are more of a speed guy or a distance guy?
I really don't know I have always been a distance guy but a couple of weeks
ago I did a 400 time trial in 56 without doing any workouts
How old are and what are your other PRs? Did you do XC and if so how much time did you take off?
I'm 16 about 5ft 3in
Prs:16:55 5k 10:15 3200 1600 4:39
2k steeple 6:30
I took about 3 weeks off after xc then ran easy runs for a week then the next week I ran the time trial
I only ran the 800 once last year and that was at the beginning of the season and I ran that in 2:08
2:00 is a nice round goal. I'm encouraged by your dropping the pace late in the workout. Shoot for 2:05 as an intermediate goal. Then 2:02. Then 2:00.
Based off my past training I would say that you're in around 2:03 shape

I reckon a smidge faster as he was hitting 43 on the last rep when tired
Right now you'll be anywhere 2:02-2:06 depending on the race itself
You should break 2 no prob after you train and race more
Bump
Based off those times I'd say you are at around 2:04 right now, and could probably shoot for 1:58-1:59 by the end of season. 2:02 or even 2:01 in two months should definitely be a goal and is absolutely possible, but then again, I've never ran indoor so I'm not sure how that would affect your times. Good luck!
Thank you everyone for the input.
I was also wondering of some other good workouts that would indicate a sub 2 min 800
4 x 400m w/ 5 min. rests was always a good indicator workout for me. I only did it a few times per season. For example if you can average 60s per 400 in this workout, you should be able to run a 2:00 800.

What would this indicate?
42,45,45,45,45,46 w/60 seconds recovery. Felt decent after this.
