Last year's winner, Lelisa Desisa ended up winning Boston in April, getting second at Worlds and earning TFN's #1 world ranking. What underperformance are you talking about?
The winner the year before Abhsero did drop out of the Olympics but then went on to get third in London 2013 and 6th in Chicago last year.
