Here it is. This is the start of my thread towards my long time goal (circa 2005) of going under 2 minutes in the 800m. I will use this forum for advise and motivation.

10k Road - 35:34 7/2009
I haven't had a track season since 2008 and since I'm 25 and before my fast twitch muscle fibers are useless I want to attempt this again. I just ran a 5k today and hit a 17:38 off of just easy running. Right now my typical week is around 40 miles a week and is split up like this
M - 4-5 mi E/Core 20 mins
Tu - 4=5 mi E/4-6 strides
W - 4-5 mi E/Core 20 mins
Th - 4-5 mi E/4-6 strides
F - 4-5 mi E/Core 20 mins
Sa - 6-7 mi E
Su - 9 mi E
