First off, I am not a troll, this is true. I have an idiot friend who came up with the idea of both of us running 100 miles next week. He and I were both average runners for college teams, but have since ran sporadically at best (highest week of mileage was 40, but most often no more than 20 a week at best for both of us)for the last few years.
Neither of us have ever ran this far in a week. My longest week being 80 and his 65 (several years ago for both of us). My friend also mentioned today that when he flexes his right knee, he has a little patella tendon pain.
Letsrun community, do you think either of us can make it?
I don't think he will make it to the 4th day before he quits. Any advice or thoughts for how we can get to the elusive 100 mile week with our egos and tendons intact?
