Pretty sure she'll get in on ranking with a top 3 at trials. The people near the bottom of the ranking list are 9:30+ time wise.
So top 3 at trials + her 9:24 should be enough of a points boost.

Unless the temperature is scorching at the trials, it's hard to see that the first three won't be below that time in the race (even given the need for heats). Also, she's in the midst of a hard training block. I can see her running middle teens at the trials which, given the repeated times she has gone through the mill with eating disorders, would be quite something.
