According to the all-time absolute list at Track and Field News the women's 100m world record is 10.54 by Elaine Thompson on 8-21-21 and not Flo Jo. They have Flo Jo 10.49 as windy. I must have missed some official designation of the 10.49 as unacceptable due to wind. Having been present for the 10.49 I must concur and thankfully I was also present for the 10.54 at Pre 2021.

When was this decision made? Anyone have a link to a story relating the decision?

Side note: How many were present for both races? I suspect I am in a crowd of less than a half-dozen

Track and Field News had FloJo's 10.49 listed as illegally wind aided for many years. They had it that way long before Thompson ran 10.54.
