I can't run during the winter because my mom is afraid I'll catch a cold or slip on ice or something. What are some exercises that I can do at home to improve my running endurance?
We don't have a treadmill and there aren't any indoor tracks near us. If I want to get a gym membership I have to use my own money and I'm just about broke right now. In my school the XC team doesn't train over winter and neither does the track team.
By the way I want to train so I can actually do decent in track meets.
