I just noticed today that on the main LetsRun page, they've got a link to buy the "Tokyo Olympiad" DVD by Ichikawa. Odd coincidence -- I just bought this myself a couple of weeks ago.

I just thought I'd say to anybody out there thinking about it that this thing is absolutely worth it. The footage of Billy Mills 10,000 meter win alone is worth the price. Extremely high-quality, wide-screen color footage - like a real movie - not those grainy black and white videos you sometimes see on the net. Also the marathon coverage is extensive.
The rest of the video is fascinating too. Ichikawa took a lot of heat from Japanese officials for the way he shot this thing. He did not focus on Japanese athletes but instead focused his cameras wherever the story took him.
Of all the videos they've got up there, this one is far and away the best.
