Alan Webb has the gift of speed & strength and was always fast, even when he was musclebound. Could he make the jump to crossfit and take on all those wankers and win the 250k they offer as their prize?

web probably isn't big enough to compete in those games. Most of the events are power based. He's slimmed down big time from a few years ago.
Running and swimming, sure. Weights, not even close.

Careful with the terms. SPEED he has not. He may have relative speed compared with other long distance sloggers, but it's still pedestrian pace compared to specialists or even generalists like Froning.
STRENGTH - what you mean is strength endurance. Guess what, when Alan Webb had to move, he hired movers because his "muscles" would gave up.
But nice try, I give you 4/10.

1:43 800 bro. Froning couldn't do anything at that pace, no matter how short.
Can someone explain to me why the sh!thead crossfitters shave their body hair like body builders??
I think it's 100% for aesthetics, nothing to do with performance, pretty much like everything else about the so-called "sport". Yes, they are strong at lifting heavy objects. No, they are not great athletes. "Fittest on earth" is laughable.

this^^ all vanity. It's not like they are training for an event or a sport.

X-Fit guy - What is your 5K PR? 400 meter PR? When are you going to post a pic of you?
Hah! Alan Webb on his worst running day would beat the cross fitters so bad they would need a telescope to see him. It makes no difference the event -- 400 to whatever..
Only if Solinsky doesn't show up.

Is Solinsky stronger than Webb or something?
I'm proud to say I don't even know what the Crossfit Games are

Crossfit's annual national championship with a million dollar prize purse and better TV coverage than track

That's a much smaller purse than world track champs and no they did not have better tv coverage. There was almost no TV coverage, just it on the internet with a tiny segment exception.
What is cross fit?

It is a sporting event that Jesus intended. And they play lots of Stryper and Creed at these events.
There was also 24,000+ people in attendance. How many were at the world track championships.
The truth is that track and field could learn something from crossfit.

I saw the Crossfit Games broadcast on ESPN along with a rerun. I did not see the world championships broadcast on ESPN. Nor did I see any quality coverage by track sports analysts on the internet.
It's fun watching the xfit competition(truly), it's brutal listening to the commentators. And the orthotape art is mind boggling.
Xfit guy is too slow, weak and cowardly to race me at any distance.
