The two CNBC videos that follow the article are instructive of the hokum and nonsense of the VC, Unicorn and IPO markets.

Aubrey McClennan dies in car crash -
Cheseapeake stock now a double over 3 weeks.
Seems likely he killed himself - suicide to relieve the pressure from his company.
Something you'd imagine would happen in medieval Japan

LGLOI,
I have responded to your posts with made up nonsense. I have done so for the last couple of days.
I made you the FOOL.
You will never know if it is real or not, but I will always know you are a faker.

You demonstrate a lack of intelligence and maturity with your posts using a stolen handle. Crawl back into your hole dipsh*t and leave the financial talk to the big boys.
agip,
I see it as a symptom of this era. Easy money flowing into an asset bubble and the beginning of the unravel. More to come in my view.
The very human story of greed and tragedy.
We never seem to learn.

Define "this era".
Berth,
I consider this era of excess to be defined by central bank policy of easy and plentiful money.

To the earlier poster, no, in the package in which the 401k exists, there are no options with a higher proportion of treasuries. In fact, there are very limited options available. Yet another reason why I have only 2% or less in that account.
Ok, I thought you were talking about liquidating the 401k. Thanks for the clarification.
Mango,
Looks like your comments banished the Troll in shame.
At least I can hold on to my moniker.
Thanks,

I was replying to you, loser.
Jerry,
Have some chips, mango salsa, a beer and chill out.
Oh, I'm what you will never be.
A Winner!

Nice try troll.
today's econ numbers
Job cuts: 62,000 vs 50,000 last year. probably mostly energy.
jobless claims continue to fall - 4 week average keeps falling.
productivity: -2.2%. terrible, terrible, terrible. I seriously blame social networking and letsrun. But honestly, a rich nation will not stay rich with carpy productivity #s. Very troubling at face value. I wonder if other rich nations are seeing the same decline.
'gallop good jobs rate" very good - highest in 6 years
pmi service: bad. 49.7, indicating contraction.

I have thought about that, too. If I weren't using it as a canary, I would have already liquidated it. I don't trust that it won't in whole or in part be seized, levied, confiscated, annexed, etc., or that tax rates will be favorable when the time comes to take disbursements.
Dude, get a grip.
this shows how hard it is to short -
Herbalife has half its shares short and has been accused of being a pyramid scheme.
Company admits its accounting was wrong, overstating its growth. Does the stock tank? Eh. Down 7%, just a few points from its 52 week high.
Risk assets rally as growth fears fade.

Isn't the Herbalife scam a "database error" that falsely indicated a high number of new participants?
Meanwhile, buybacks continue at an accelerated rate, to support executives receiving stock and options as compensation.
